From the Spring of Aganippe gushed waters of inspiration, which five of the fountain figures, representing the arts, have just been drinking. Filled with enthusiasm, they are rushing home, each artist carrying his symbol with him.

NIGHT VIEW OF THE NEW ALLIED CHEMICAL BUILDING

"Remodeling of the old Times Tower into the Allied Chemical Tower at Times Square was completed in the mid 1965. Many of the traditions associated with the area are being continued at the new building, such as lowering a lighting ball at midnight each December 31 to mark the coming new year. Also retained is the lighted electric news sign which girdles the building just above the third floor."
